After 23 years Salman Khan alls set for Christmas release

The Khans of Bollywood have been known for releasing their films around certain festivals. This helps in encashing the festive mood and to get a higher number of foot falls in the movie halls.

Aamir Khan is known for releasing his film during Christmas, Shah Rukh Khan during Diwali and Salman Khan during Eid. Things had been going this way for years until now.

This year Salman Khan’s “Ek tha Tiger” got released during Eid like his other films “Wanted”, “Bodyguard”, “Dabangg”, and “Ready”. Shah Rukh Khan’s much-hyped “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” too got released this year during Diwali. However, Aamir Khan’s latest offering ‘Talaash” is getting released on the 30th of November, this year and therefore the slot during Christmas has not been occupied yet. Hence it is being claimed that Salman Khan’s next film “Dabangg 2” that is nearing completion, and quiet certain to get released in Christmas.
